Seventh Day

GuMooooo to you lovely people out there. Sorry for the delay with the blog today some of us had a rough evening – more about that later.

We stayed at the same place as the night before, since we were hoping that this day there would be waves – and bc the place was really cute and convenient aswell. After there were no waves (again – ufff). We left right away and drove more to the west to see a beach that was recommended to us: Playa Torimbia. We had some breaky on the nice parking near the beach. After that we started our little hike to the get there.

Rating for Torimbia’s beach – it was a really nice and kind of big beach. We enjoyed it a lot. Actually even the sun came out for some time. Not many people were around, but those that were were naked. We are not sure if the beach has potential surfable waves. Had some discussions about it. If you know, pls tell us in the comments!

We took a different way back. That led us to nice views and the cute village next to it. (How crazy is this here, honestly seeing this on a picture – I would have noo idea what so ever where this is located)

We saw rocks, cliffs, super blue water, right next to it green Grass landscapes and huge forrests with fog on top of the trees – making it look mysterious af. This is a mix out of Ireland, the Alps, Greece and Thailand.
Pictures attached!

The hike took us around 2h. After that we decided to buy some groceries in Llanes. We did not think about it being Sunday. So no shopping today. We walked around Llanes. First it looked like this would be a dead town. But as we were getting closer to the center, we discovered that there was a huge party going on. People were drinking cider like there was no tomorrow, and some even wore traditional clothes and rode horses.

We wanted to charge our Powerbank so we went to a coffeeshop. And the nicer waiter charged it for us. Since they had no leche de avena we went for some drinks instead and played some rounds of shithead.

After walking around the town, Sandra wanted to have a 3 Gänge Menü, bc apparently they had some good options on the menu. Everything including drinks for 17€ – we believe this prices don’t exist in Germany. Heide ate the Dorada to remember Tim. 2 couples next to us became besties during their dinner, sadly we were only sometime included in their conversations. In the end there was even good bye kisses. Sadly we didn’t see them exchange numbers – what a pitty.

Then we went to Playa de Buelna which some friends of Sandra suggested to us. – if you are reading this Pol thanks!
It was a short hike for sunset with some caves and natural water pool. Since there was low tide, the pools were not great and some people were in already we skipped it and went back to the playa for some quick plantsch fun.
During the hike Sandra decided to buy some lices brush tomorrow – just in case she would have some. I was as confused as you guys are now. But no worries, don’t think anyone has lieces here.

All in all it was a cute nice hike, the only problem was when we crashed without noticing the cow’s farm and we had to walk quietly for our lifes until the exit, be calm guys we managed to get out, but men we nearly died.

We left and checked out places to stay for the night. We first stayed at a place next to a farm. Heide did some work stuff, because apparently she is a workaholic. After already having some issues before with some scherteling, Heide started to not feel great in her stomach. Poor Heide, why does bad things happen to good people guys? (at least that is what she thinks she is)
There are different options why this is happening, either the Dorada was bad (that was the only fish Sandra did not eat also), or Heide is not used to eating fish after being a vegetarian and only in some few cases eating fish, or the smell of the one dish with beans remembered Heide of her time in Peru 🇵🇪 (where she was throwing up a lot).
After some (a lot) throwing up and more working – we drove down to the cute place we had visited a couple of days before already (look for yourself how cute this is).
We arrived late around 22:45h after some more puking and the last antibiotic of Sandra (yes guys we are getting wasteeed today) we went to bed.

Bona nit 🌛

PS: Quiz question for today: How many Roundabouts did we encounter during the day?
